Firemen's Awards $11,000 in Scholarships
New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union is honored to celebrate our 2025 Donald T. Bock Scholarship recipients!
Please join us in celebrating eleven outstanding student members. Firemen’s selects one student member from each branch, along with one employee’s family member, to receive a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of their dedication to service, leadership, and embodiment of the credit union philosophy: People Helping People. Their bright futures are a source of inspiration to us all.
Firemen’s Federal was excited to present the scholarships during a special luncheon held at The Ridgeway, Metairie. We were especially moved by the heartfelt letters of recommendation and the exceptional essays submitted by each recipient. Their words reflected not only their commitment to the community but also a deep understanding of the credit union spirit.
The Donald T. Bock Scholarship Program is named in honor of the late Donald T. Bock, a dedicated credit union volunteer for over 40 years whose legacy continues to inspire and uplift. This scholarship aims to remove financial barriers and empower our members to reach their full potential through higher education.
