We are extremely pleased and excited to announce the merger of West Jefferson Federal Credit Union with New Orleans Firemen's Federal Credit Union. This partnership creates a terrific opportunity to add value for our members through more products and services designed specifically for our community's needs.

The merger with Firemen's Federal creates a combined organization with over $250 million in assets, 10 branch locations, and a network of over 5,600 shared branches to serve you. With a proud history of serving employees of the healthcare industry, Firemen's Federal works for you to provide a suite of products and services tailored specifically for our members.

By merging with Firemen's Federal, you will have greater access to manage your accounts, at more branches, with a team of certified financial counselors and class-leading digital banking services in the palm of your hand.

Convenience: Members will have access to 10 Firemen's Federal branch locations and over 5,600 shared branches after July 1, 2022.

What can you expect with the Firemen's Federal merger?

Our West Jefferson hospital branch and ATMs will remain open and accessible.
All accounts will transfer to Firemen's Federal.
Information will be posted throughout the merger.
You will receive communication throughout the merger process to explain what changes will be occurring.

We continue to be focused on regulatory and legal changes impacting the Credit Union and its members. With our focus on tomorrow, we are modifying certain terms and conditions impacting your account. The changes can be found below and in the letter mailed on May 25, 2022. These disclosures include your new Member Service Agreement (MSA) and Our Rates and Services Charges Disclosure which will become effective on June 30, 2022. Your continued use or maintenance of your account or Credit Union services, after this date, constitutes your agreement to these changes.
