You can open an account by visiting any of our branch locations – no appointment necessary. To get started, you'll need a government-issued ID, your Social Security number, EIN or ITIN, and proof of address. Most accounts can be opened the same day.

You don't have to be a firefighter to join us. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in our service area across Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as immediate family members of current members. We offer several ways to make a loan payment – online, in person, by mail or over the phone.

Shared branching lets you access your Firemen's Federal account at thousands of credit union locations across the country. Through the Co-op Shared Branch network, participating credit unions open their doors to each other's members, so you can make deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and more just like you would at one of our own locations. To use shared branching, simply walk into any Co-op Shared Branch location, let the teller know you'd like to access your Firemen's Federal account, and provide your account number and a government-issued ID. No extra cards or setup required.

To set up direct deposit, provide your employer or benefits administrator with your Firemen's Federal account number and our routing number: 265075812. If you need help, call us at 800-647-1689 or stop by any branch.

Log in to Online Banking, go to the Statements section, and follow the prompts to switch from paper to electronic statements. eStatements are free and secure, and enrolling in eStatements helps you meet the monthly requirements to waive fees on eligible accounts.
