Firemen's Federal Credit Union has been serving communities across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi since 1934 – and you don’t have to be a firefighter to open an account. We are open to the community. Give us a call or visit a branch to get started.

Who can join Firemen’s Federal?

You can! Becoming a member is easier than you think. Join now if you are:

  • An active or retired firefighter in southeast LA or southern MS
  • Someone who lives, works, worships or attends school in southeast LA or southern MS
  • Employed by one of our 400+Select Employee Groups – ask your employer
  • A member of the Faith Fund (see below)
  • An immediate family member or household member of anyone listed above

Don’t think you qualify? Don’t worry, you can still become a member through the Faith Fund – our 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner dedicated to expanding financial opportunities within the communities we serve.

If you are not eligible through one of the membership options above, Firemen’s Federal Credit Union will make a donation on your behalf to the Faith Fund, opening the door to membership. There is no cost to you for this donation.
