We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Lockport Police Department, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, the Louisiana State Police, and all of the local law enforcement agencies who responded so quickly to this morning’s incident at our Lockport branch.
While the investigation remains active and ongoing, it has been publicly confirmed that one suspect has been taken into custody, and law enforcement continues its efforts to locate any other individuals who may have been involved. (KQKI News)
We are grateful for the professionalism, rapid response, and coordination demonstrated by everyone involved. Most importantly, we are thankful that no one was injured and that our community continues to be protected.
Thank you to all of our law enforcement officers and first responders for your dedication and service to Lafourche Parish every day. Your commitment to keeping our communities safe does not go unnoticed.
