Immediate Family Membership is limited to a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild. Stepchildren, stepparents, stepsiblings and adopted children are also included in this definition.

Household Membership is defined as persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single unit. This includes any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household.

Corporate Membership

By joining NOFFCU's Field of Membership, you can offer credit union services as part of your benefit package. There is no cost, nor liability to you, and minimal administrative tasks to offer this benefit. You also have the option to offer payroll deduction and direct deposit to your employees. Our accounting staff will work with you to make the process as simple as possible.

Preferred Membership (Effective August 1, 2005)

Our Preferred Member Program is designed to reward you, the member, for using NOFFCU as your primary financial institution. We provide our preferred members with special benefits to show you our appreciation for bringing your financial business to your credit union.

Preferred Member Qualifications
Member must have 4 of the following 8 services:

• An active checking account-both deposits and check clearing activity within the past thirty days
• A Visa Platinum, Visa Platinum Select , or Visa Platinum Plus
• Direct Deposit or Payroll Deduction of at least $50 per month
• Automated Payment on any NOFFCU loan (payroll or automatic transfer)
• Any mortgage loan
• A Life Benefit Share Account with at least a $1000 balance
• EZ Services: E-Fire, EZ Payment, & EZ Statement
• Every $25,000 aggregate balance (excluding checking & escrow accounts) counts as one service

• Free Debit Card
• $10 coupon to be used toward a box of checks
• Preferred members who qualify for a VISA Platinum Select will be eligible for the VISA Platinum Plus
• One Free Stop Payment Per Year
• Loan Rate Discount:

  • One Loan - Rate Discount of .10% on 1st Loan*
  • Two Loans - Rate Discount of .25% on 2nd Loan*
  • Three Loans - Rate Discount of .50% on 3rd Loan*

  * VISA, Mortgage & Right Track Rate discounts are excluded.

  Example: You have your VISA & First Mortgage at NOFFCU. You can count those as your first two loans, even though the discount does not apply to those loan rates. Apply for a car loan as your third loan and automatically receive a rate discount of .50%.
